A fragment of a face mount, possibly belonging to a bell pendant, roughly triangular in plan with a flat cross-section, the eyes, brow, nose, cheeks and remains of a double-stranded motache of a stylised human face elaborately chip-carved in Salin's Style I still visible. Cf. The Portable Antiquities Scheme, record id. SF-9D01C6 and KENT-A7FD90, for similar. 6.72 grams, 25mm wide (1").
