13th-14th century AD. A bone chess piece, likely a pawn, worked from a roughly cylindrical section of bone with a slightly inverted apex, hollowed, polished and engraved with two parallel circumferential bands towards the base and four sub-rectangular bands terminating in dot-in-ring motifs around the neck; broad, flat base.
