A silver braceletposed of six circular cells, each holding a Roman Republican era silver denari coin and each with four loops to the circumference and joined by openwork hourglass-shaped links; link safety chain between the clasps; coin faces also visible from the reverse; the coins are by the issuers: Ti. Minuci C. f. Augurin (131 BC), anonymo type (after c.211 BC), M. Furi L. f. Phil (119 BC), Mark Antony (for legion III, 32-31 BC) and two of M. Atili Saran (148 BC"). 48.4 grams, 10.8cm (4 1/4"). From the late Alison Barker collection, a retired London barrister; from her collection formed early 1960s-1990s.
