A carved hardwood figure of a saint standing on a flared base; the curly hair falling in rings to the shoulders, the fleshy face with heavy-lidded eyes and small pouting mouth, segmented chain to the neck with quatrefoil centrepiece, tiered and flounced robe covered by a mantle; left hand gripping a thick bible with heavy cover, separately carved right hand grasping a staff; hollow to the reverse with spension hook and trennels. 1.53 kg total, 50cm high (19 3/4").
