A substantial iron finger ring with D-section hoop expanding at the shoulders to an oval bezel, the hoop with hatched decoration, the bezel showing a crowned shield with initials 'M T' at centre and with reversed '+ K K F DAMRAD DI HOFFSID' legend; probably of Germanic origin, apanied by a meum-quality impression. 24.65 grams, 32.42mm overall, 26.33mm internal diameter (approximate size British Y 1/2, A 12 1/4, Europe 28.2, Japan 27) (1 1/4").
