18th-19th century AD. A group of bronze Byzantine style reliquary cross pendants with hinged loop, most with robed nimbate figures of Christ and Virgin Mary embossed or engraved. The crosses (enkolpia) are of type I and IV in the Pitarakis classification, belonging to the Orthodox tradition of the 19th century, during which time it was popular to reproduce and wear traditional forms of cross.
