此器四方，鼎式形制，体量适中，稳重端庄。分体浇铸，上下分二层，上面为器盖，下为四象足器身。盖顶隆起，中央置鎏金太平有象为钮，雍容典雅。盖顶及四壁开光镂雕夔龙、缠枝莲纹。器壁厚重，入手发沉，皮色红栗，包浆醇厚，形制秀雅，线条柔婉流畅，转折平滑，泽光熠熠，保存完好，极具艺术性和收藏价值。
