Potted with a large cylindrical vessel, jar shape, globular belly heavy on shoulder, round mouth rim with general helmet dome lidded finial bud, short neck, and raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue and alum red fine color, depicted of carps swim through water plants, sea grass and flowers. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring line. Made in The Years Jiajing Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
