Fine Georgian silver gilt presentation table snuff box of rectangular form with romantic cartouche to lid decorated with huntsman and female admirer with hound and putti, engine turned ground with finely cast and chased floral border, the gilded interior engraved 'From the members of the late Carlton Club to Chas Poignand Esq in testimony of their regard and esteem for his services July 2nd 1829'.
