A GREEN JADE RING, HUAN, WARRING STATES PERIOD China, 5th-3rd century BC. Of circular form, tapering significantly from the rounded inner to the outer edge. The translucent stone is of a dark green tone with paler green swirls as well as white and dark veins and inclusions.

Provenance: From a private estate in Hampshire, United Kingdom. One side with an old paper label, ‘China. [Jade] Disc “Hua” [sic]. [Warring] States. […] -221 [BC]’.
Condition: Good condition with some wear, two small chips to the outer edge, signs of weathering and erosion. The stone with natural fissures, some of which may have developed into small hairline cracks over time.
