A Chinese jade seal dating from the 19th century. The rectangular seal is blank. Dimensions are: 1 1/4 inches tall X 3/4 inches wide X 3/4 inches deep, 3.2 cm X 1.9 cm X 1.9 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is a chip to one edge. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is. The collector is of Russian descent, but was born in Harbin, China in 1935. Following the end of WWII, her family moved to Shanghai and stayed there until 1952 when they relocated to Hong Kong. The items in the collection were acquired during the family's time in Shanghai from private collections and art auctions.
