A Chinese Dehua porcelain Guanyin dating from the 19th century. She stands on a rock while pouring a water vessel with her right hand. She wears a hooded robe over her hair, which is tied into a knot with a ruyi headpiece. The rock she stands upon has an outcropping to her right, and on it perches a pheasant. Dimensions are: 23 3/4 inches tall X 9 1/2 inches long X 7 1/4 inches wide, 60.3 cm X 24.1 cm X 18.4 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is a firing crack to the rock, and one small area of the rock has been ground down. Overall, the statue is in good condition. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is. We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece after its initial manufacture as diligently as possible; however, as stated in our terms, condition reports are statements of opinion and not representations or warranties.
