A Chinese wooden stool inset with a round porcelain plaque dating from the 19th century. The famille rose plaque depicts a landscape with a village in the mountains featuring 16 figures. The stool is carved with bats around the skirt and beast heads on the 4 legs. Dimensions are: 18 inches tall X 18 inches diameter, 45.72 cm X 45.72 cm, the plaque measures 11 1/4 inches diameter.. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Glaze wear to the plaque, the stool has repairs to the seams, areas of damage to the surface, and significant cracking to the wooden legs.
