A Chinese knife and chopstick set with a scabbard dating from the 19th century. The scabbard features coral and turquoise inlaid into its metal and enamel frame, and the chopsticks and scabbard have ebony wood elements. A large stone toggle hangs from the scabbard. The chopsticks have metal covers on their ends. Each side of the knife's blade is decorated with gold-colored dragons chasing flaming pearls. Its dark brown wood handle fluoresces. Dimensions are: the whole set together measures 13 3/4 inches tall X 1 inches long X 1 inches wide, 34.9 cm X 2.5 cm X 2.5 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: All pieces show use and age wear. The wooden knife handle has an area of repair. Some inlay has been repaired or replaced. Some parts of the scabbard and knife are loose. One of the chopsticks has been repaired. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
