A Chinese bronze sculpture of Guanyin with two acolytes dating from the 18th century or earlier. Guanyin sits on a pedestal with her left hand in dhyana mudra. A pheasant perches on the outcropping to the right of Guanyin, and a water vessel stands on the outcropping to her left. The acolyte Shan Tsai stands to her left in a pose of supplication, while Long Nue stands to her right holding the Pearl of Light. Dimensions are: 6 inches tall X 5 inches long X 3 inches wide, 15.2 cm X 12.7 cm X 7.6 cm. Weight: 562 grams. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are multiple areas of repair, including to the acolytes and to the back of Guanyin. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
