A Chinese blue-ground dragon kesi panel dating from the early 19th century. The panel depicts three dragons chasing flaming pearls surrounded by Buddhist emblems, bats, and cranes over a wave and rock motif. It is mounted on a board. Dimensions are: 20 inches tall X 22 1/4 inches wide, 50.8 cm X 56.5 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are areas of separation throughout, as well as areas of loose threads and thread loss. Fading and staining throughout. Several areas of repair.
