A Blue and White Porcelain JarKANGXI PERIOD (1654-1722)清康熙 青花牡丹花卉紋罐the near-sperical body supported above a wide foot, narrowing at wide shoulders to a slightly everted lip surrounding the mouth opening. The walls richly painted with a continuous scene of birds fluttering about flowers and rockery, all raised above a reticulated stand worked with large open panes divided by lozenge-form columns and joined by stretchers. Height 7 1/2 in., 19 cm.
