Description

|炉以红铜熔铸而成，撇口凸唇，束颈，腹圆入球，肩面两侧各铸饰一蚰龙耳，圜底，下承三高乳足，乳足间剔刻有方形变异篆书“宣德”款印，印文剔刻精道，刀法凌厉沉稳。明代宣德年间，铜炉冶铸之风自宣德始铸渐而兴盛，至今未衰。此炉取材至净至纯，复经百炼熔铸而成，上手颇具分量，其通体经百年传承，皮红如枣，且包浆密实，体表毫光冷静稳重，毫无张扬滞涩之感，堪为炉中美器。|同类器见刊于台湾国立博物馆《馆藏牙雕暨明清铜炉特展》P44图版72.
