瓶直口、长颈 , 圆腹 , 平底 , 圈足。器内施白釉 , 外通体霁蓝釉 , 底施白釉 , 此瓶色泽深沉 , 造型古朴高雅 ,敦厚有力 , 展现出一派豪华富贵的气象。霁蓝釉由元代景德镇创烧 , 明清两代一直都有生产，《南窑笔记》中把它和霁红、甜白相提并论。天球瓶始于明代永乐、宣德年间 , 原名为“千秋瓶“, 象征着“千秋太平”之意。
