|●虞愚（1909-1987），生于厦门，原籍浙江山阴，原名德元，是我国二十世纪著名的国学大师。曾入武昌佛学院、南京支那内学院学习，学有所成。1930年毕业于上海大夏大学。历任贵州大学、厦门大学、中国佛学院教授。1979年为中国社会科学院文学所兼职研究员。1982年任该院哲学研究所研究员。兼任中国逻辑史研究会顾问、中国佛教协会常务理事、中国佛学院教授。著有《因明学》、《中国名学》、《印度逻辑》等，有《虞愚文集》三卷留世。
