|此瓶通体会有各各有关祝寿的故事，上下两部分出了腰部有短暂的留白，其余均通体绘画，无不显示出康熙画工的“顶天立地”，其绿彩鲜澈透明，在洁白的釉面映衬下葱翠欲滴，而矾红纹饰则于浓妍华丽中显端庄稳重之质，细观之，其矾红颗粒饱满且富质感，是为康熙朝矾红所特有。所谓“五彩华贵，青花幽靓。”康熙五彩冠绝一时，为世人所重，画法独特，风格一绝，均令后世难以企及，诚如《匋雅•卷上》所评“康熙彩之颜料，因非后世所常有。论其画手高妙，不但官窑器皿，髣髴王恽，即平常客货，亦莫不出神入化，波澜老成。”如斯情态，由此瓶即可窥见一二。
