Chinese Rare Longquan Guan-Type Censer. Finely potted with apressed globular body supported on a high splayed foot and rising to a waisted neck applied with a pair archaistic dragon handles two beneath a flared rim, covered overall with a lustrous bluish-green glaze suffused with a matrix of dense dark iron crackles, the base incised with characters, and the rim bound in a gold metal band. {Width 9.8 inches (24.8 cm)}.
