Chinese Rare Jian 'Temmoku' Bowl. Of rounded conical shape rising from a small foot to an indented groove beneath the mouth rim, covered overall with a lustrous black glaze with iridescent silvery-blue 'oil spots,' the glaze pooling evenly above the foot revealing the dark stoneware body, the rim bound in a gold metal band. {Diameter 5 inches (12.7 cm)}. Condition: Light wear on the metal rim.
