A French kingwoodmode, late 18th Century, of breakfront form, stamped to the top of carcase J.F. Delacour, with grey veined marble top,prising three drawers with geometrically applied kingwood veneers, applied cast ormolu mounts and handles, ormolu feet, 93cm high, 123cm wide, 55cm deepMarble top with scratches and general surface wear, chips to edges, old chip with signs of restoration, overall general wear to include scratches, scuffs, minor indentations. Age related splits to veneer throughout, and some small losses to veneer with signs of veneer restoration. One escutcheon is loose, chest is lacking keys. There are signs of old wood worm holes to both the left and right sides
