|说明：金刚总持，又称持金刚，是噶举派崇奉的本初佛，被认为是释迦佛说密法时所呈现的形象。由金刚总持开始在法界中传法渡生，有了佛教，佛法才开始传播弘扬，他是法界中弘传佛法的诞生者，是整个佛教在法界中的最高教主。造像头束高发髻，弯眉细目，神态慈悲柔和。上身袒露，饰璎珞、钏环、镶嵌宝石，制作精巧，雍容华贵。下身着长裙，裙薄贴体，膝前衣纹自然流畅。宽肩细腰，四肢肌肉感强，结金刚吽迦罗印—两手相交叉于胸前各结期克印，双手分别拿金刚铃和金刚杵，亦意味本尊金刚总持之本质纯净，也譬喻密乘甚身教义，这是金刚总持身份的重要标识。造像全跏趺而坐体态优美，整体造型大方，法相庄严，做工讲究，为清代西藏地区所造之佳作。
