Ca. Ø65mm, ca. 150g, silver, outer case in a very unusual design, 'sun shape', back with a hinged lid, the central symbol is the slide to close it, plain inner case, Hallmarks London 1813, signed and numbered verge movement, No.38208, typical Ottoman pillars, signed enamel dial (hairlines), gilt hands, intact. The 'sun case' served as a transport case with secret lock with slider and was probably specially made for the watch case.
