Ø40mm, ca. 36g, 18K gold, extremely elaborately designed, multi-coloured enamelled case, separated into 16 segments, representation of various flowers on black background, dome signed and numbered, No. 1232, Paris gold punch from 1819, very fine thin cylinder movement, eccentric silver engine turned dial, steel hands, intact; matching 18K original chatelaine, enamelled in the same manner, ca. 16g, in very beautiful condition, rare quality. Josef Dieudonné Kinable was born near Ivoz-Ramet near Liège around 1764. He went to Paris in 1781, where he was trained and worked as a watchmaker during the French revolution.
