Ø56.5mm, ca. 195g, silver, pair case, outer case covered with tortoiseshell (cracks), inner case pierced, bell, fire-gilt verge movement of very beautiful quality, Egyptian pillars, quarter repeater, bell, enamel dial, exceptional and very beautiful iron hands, intact and with good sound. Gottfried Torborch originally came from Danzig. He became a citizen of Munich in 1685 and obtained the full master's right as a small watchmaker. Many of Torborch's watches are now in important museums and private collections.
