Ø51mm, ca. 95g, 18g gold, special enamelling technique in manner of Guillaume Bouvier, green engine turned enamel on a white background, on it golden elements, florally decorated, inside also enamelled, face white enamelled with golden blossoms, signed verge movement, enamel dial, pink gold hands, intact, in very beautiful condition, golden decorative elements slightly rubbed. Guillaume Bovier was known for his special enamelling technique of embedding raised gold elements into the enamel work. The background was usually white and was intended to imitate Meissen porcelain. He made both precious watch cases and boxes. We auctioned the counterpart to this watch in blue/white/gold for ca. 5,000 Euros in 2019.
