The tower consists of a base, a middle part, a vessel, a cover and a top. The hemispherical base is supported by three feet which are decorated with yin-yang symbols and flames. The base has incised decoration similar to stylized lotus leaves. The middle partprises two square bowls and a linking part, which are put atop each other. The bowls are carved in openwork design and each is provided with four loose-ring side handles. The middle part supports the round vessel with an everted rim and two large side handles shaped in the form of mystical creatures, each holding movable rings. The round vessel has a hemispherical cover, decorated with roundels, that include stylized animals, and openwork design. The top isposed of two bowls, two linking parts and a finial.
