PROVENANCE:From St Matthew, Kentucky, Private Collectors.Measurements: Height: " Width/Length: " Diameter/Depth: " Chinese Yuan Dynasty Period, porcelain bowl. The porcelain potted with a shallow deep body, thick, large and bulbous body, with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the straight mouth rim, raised on a small round, with slight concave footing. The center interior decorated of flowers and the walls carved with chrysanthemum petals form, scrolling interlocking ruyi on the inner upper mouth rim. Rectangles with geometric pattern festooned on the exterior bowl. Each section mark off and enclosed with double fine blue rings lines. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark grayish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. The glaze appearance on the blue painting resembled the texture of an orange peel "ju-pi" (chu-p'i) or a chicken skin.
