Measurements: Height: 9.25" Width/Length: 4.75" Diameter/Depth: 4.75" Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Qianlong porcelain vase. Potted in a shape of double gourd resemblance, with two bulbous bellies conjoined together, bulbous lower section finishing into a slender bottleneck at the top, suspending a tall cylindrical neck, with a flaring opening lip, raised on slightly short splayed foot base and slightly concave. The exterior hand painted ornamentations are rendered in red brown under glazed base color which contrast against enamel design famille rose translates to the pink family on a colored ground decoration, depicted of immortals standing above thrashing Lishui waves on the upper body. And the lower body adorned with many folk in various pursuit among dense tree, Lishui river, rock hills, all in salubrious landscape. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. Mark on base, a six blue script characters reign mark, Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
