A George V silver tea service, A George V silver tea service, by Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1920-1922,prising a coffee pot, raised on bun feet, 27cm wide, a teapot and stand, 32cm high, a cream jug, 14cm wide, and twin-handled sugar bowl, 19cm wide, all with gadrooned lower half, on four bun feet, and a twin-handled tray, of rectangular form, with a reeded rim, 43 x 72cm, total 247.29ozt (5) Condition report: All pieces with some degree of tarnish - most notably to the deeper recesses. Scratches and marks occur throughout. The hallmarks rubbed down to the sugar bowl and the creamer. The burner with rubbing to the plating. Some scuffing to the wooden finials. The tray with some spotting to the surface. The tray with some notable scratches to the underneath. With some liquid stains to the inside of the spouts. The engraving rubbed down to most of the engraved pieces.
