此品种碗创烧于乾隆朝，釉彩鲜亮，为清代御窑经典品种之一。拍品外壁以八吉祥为主体纹饰，两两一组，相互呼应，上下加绘夔龙纹与如意云头纹。全器釉面光洁，色彩鲜艳，绘制精美。八吉祥，又称佛教八宝，包括宝瓶、宝盖、双鱼、莲花、白螺、盘肠、法幢、法轮，是象征佛法的八种物象。
