Certified Chinese bronze bell from chariot (carriage), Han dynasty (206BC-220AD) The bell is in working condition: there is a bronze bell (ball) inside the bell, which moves freely and produces a ring when shaking. It would have originally been fitted to a horse-drawn chariot, ringing constantly as the chariot went along. Diameter of the outer circle: 12.5 cm = 5 inches Diameter of the bronze ball/bell inside: 2.2 cm = 22 mm Weight: 426 g = 15 oz. Condition: covered with genuine multicolored malachite patina, strongly attached to the bronze. One quarter of outer circle is missed.
