René Lalique (French 1860-1945), four gilt-metal WWI (1914-1918) fund raising medals, c.1914-1918, 'Poilu' brooch and 'Prisoner of war' marked 'R.Lalique', the other two marked 'Lalique',prising:- Croix Insigne WWI – ‘Journée du Poilu, 1915’ presented as a brooch; together with a 'Sauvons Les’ medal; and a 'Journee Rouennaise des prisonniers de guerre Octobre 1916’; and a ‘Pour Les Blessés De La Tuberculose’, c.1917, Brooch 3.4 cm square (4)All with light natural wear. The prisoner of war medal still has some original, slightly faded ribbon.
