Lot of 5 Ancient Greco-Roman Bronze Vessel Handles c. 350 B.C. Size 7 1/2 - 2 5/8 inches high. Group of five different fancy bronze vessel handles, including an example having a fancy terminal depicting a female head wearing a cap and flanked with large leaves and floral elements. Overall encrusted blue-green surface patina. Intact, exc. cond. Together with three additional handles in graduated sizes from large to medium, all having a stylized leaf-like terminal. Two of which have a lion head at the top rim. The largest example is intact, one is missing the top left connecting rail and the smallest is missing a horn from the leaf element. Finally, a small simple handle, intact. provenance: rivate NJ. collection, acquired 1950s-1960s. By descent to family.
