壶型饱满端庄，敛口，弧盖，球形腹，圈足，腹侧出三弯流，与之相对另一侧的颈腹间设花枝形圈把，虚实相生。盖面饰梅枝纹，颈部刻弦纹及城垛纹，腹部主题纹饰以减地浮雕之法饰人物故事图，两面分别以“钟进士移居”、“孙真人救龙子”为题材入饰，地子干净，剔刻手法老练，人物神态描绘生动传神，场景情真意切，于朴拙之中见华丽之气。
