童子为白玉质，温润细腻。圆雕双童子，脚踩莲花，圆头圆脑，开脸喜庆，身着肚兜，刻画细致，双手过肩而握，将童子摔跤中的动态描绘的栩栩如生，营造出天真活泼的婴戏氛围。摔跤童子宋代即有，至清代的时期也叫布库，早期在宋代童子玉器中，以持莲童子数量最多，且多为单人出现，像这件双童子造型实属少见。此器物玉质精良，工艺精湛，题材独特，莲花中心有一穿孔。
