观音面容平和安宁，发髻圆隆，正中应为阿弥陀佛化佛，花卉形冠饰，发带自然披落两肩。体态匀称，身躯起伏平缓，肌肉表现不突出，明显受到汉地审美传统的影响。
观音身着轻薄贴体的衲衣，胸前戴花卉项链，装饰极为简洁。左腿平置，右腿屈起，自在坐姿端坐于莲座之上，高大仰莲瓣台座格外醒目，莲蓬丝蕊细密，莲瓣宽肥饱满，舒展自如，莲座下又承接三层台阶式高台。
整件作品表现出典型的宋元造像艺术风格，继承了辽代典雅端庄的遗韵，体现出多元文化融合的特点。
