A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE AND IRON RED 'BAJIXIANG' DISH, 18TH CENTURY. Decorated with the eight Buddhist emblems and central lotus in iron red with a band of lotus and 'Shou' characters in underglaze blue. To the underside of the dish, famille rose enamel decoration of sanduo 'the three abundances', peach, pomegranate and finger citron. Six-character seal mark of Qianlong to base. 26cm diam. 8cm piece missing to the edge of dish. One small chip to rim. 5cm hairline running vertical from rim. General surface wear.
