OKUMURA MASANOBU (1686-1764) Edo period (1615-1868), circa 1740 (3)OKUMURA MASANOBU (1686-1764)Edo period (1615-1868), circa 1740Set of 12 large oban shunga (erotic picture) prints from the series (Someiro no yama) Neya no hinagata (Mountains of Dyed Colours: Patterns for the Bedroom), with hand-colouring, mounted as a handscroll, including the wrapper with the title inside a kosode kimono with two collector's seals Fuji and Ichiai at the beginning, the aforementioned two collector's seals, a third collector's seal and the artist's signature at the end, depicting 12 scenes of love making in the 12 months, each with an associated haiku poem; signed Yamato gako Hogetsudo Tanchosai Okumura Shinmyo Masanobu no zu, with a wood storage box and a lacquered-wood outer storage box.
