A Chinese export porcelain armorial custard cup and a cream jug, Qianlong period, both with covers, the custard cup with entwined berried strap handle and a strawberry finial, painted with a coat-of-arms of Lawrence impaling Ilbery in a roundel within a border of gilt key-pattern, 8.3cm high, the cream jug painted to the exterior with three figures on a rooftop looking out over a bay with ships and a walled city in the distance, all in a shaped panel with gilt border amongst leaf scrolls in puce and iron-red, the cover with two European river landscape scenes, 11.4cm high (2)Provenance: The custard cup formerly in the collection of the late G.W. The cream jug with similar light wear, again in good condition overall.
