A bronze zoomorphic vessel representing a bird,posed of a squat carinated body, flared rim, D-section handle, elongated tapering U-section spout with upper face open, short bridge joining the spout to the rim, mounted by a horned goat; apanied by a custom-made display stand. 862 grams, 28 cm wide (1.28 kg total, 29 cm wide including stand) (11 in. (11 3/8 in."). Acquired from a Mayfair gallery, c.1991. Property of a North London gentleman.
