A carved limestone capital from a column with frieze of robed figures within a colonnade, each sitting on a chair facing and holding a book in the left hand; trefoils and other detailing to the canopy. 12 kg, 29.5 cm wide (11 5/8 in."). Collection of Mr Pierre Nicolas Roller, bibliothecaire and curator of the Grand Ducal Court. Apanied by an academic report by Dr Raffaele D'Amato.
