释星云（1927年8月19日－），俗名李国深，法号悟彻，其信徒常称之为星云大师。江苏扬州（江都）人，十二岁于南京栖霞寺礼志开上人出家。为临济宗第48代传人。1945年入栖霞律学院修学佛法。1949年春，组织僧侣救护队来台湾。1967年创建佛光山，并出任佛光山寺第一、二、三任住持。
星云大师的书法“尽善尽美”，其善在内容，其美在形式。星云大师的字超越了一般书法理论的要求，无笔无锋、无位置经营，无骨无势、无横竖撇捺，但却神采生动，适眼合心。
