Li kuchan (January 11, 1899 - June 11, 1983), formerly known as Yingjie, was renamed English, with the word chaosan and Ligong. He was born in Gaotang, Shandong Province, a modern calligrapher, painter and art educator, and a master of Chinese modern freehand flower and bird painting.Born in poverty, he was influenced by his hometown's traditional culture and embarked on an artistic journey. In 1923, he took Qi Baishi as his teacher. He used to be a professor of Hangzhou art college, a professor of the Central Academy of fine arts, a director of the Chinese Artists Association and a member of the Academy of Chinese painting. He is good at painting flowers, birds and eagles. In his later years, he often makes large-scale through screens. His representative works are: Sheng he, the picture of eagles, the picture of pine eagles, the picture of orchid bamboo, the picture of sunny snow and the picture of waterfowls. Published Li kuchan's paintings in 1978 [1]. On June 11, 1983, Li kuchan died. Mi Jingyang (1936 -) is from Beijing. Good at Chinese painting.
