19th century Chinese scholar jadeite seal carved out of a natural boulder and resembling a hill with vegetation. First catalogue photo includes the image of the printing surface flipped left to right to show what the imprint of the seal will look like. Wonderful austere piece appropriate for a scholar’s table, high polish finish to the stone. The bottom is carved with six sunken characters, red seal paste in the grooves.
