款识：“石叟”
平口外侈，口沿对饰冲天耳，耳部及束颈以嵌银丝工艺饰连续回纹，扁圆腹饱满，主体纹饰以细密的鱼子锦纹为地，装饰蟠虺纹，身躯互相紧密依附在一起，作盘旋交连样态，尽显古朴神秘的气质。腹下承接三乳足，中央嵌银丝“石叟”款识。
石叟，明末人，善制嵌银铜器，所作多文人几案间物，精雅绝伦。款石叟二字多在底，体兼篆隶，亦朴拙无俗韵。
此炉制式鲜见，以文房案头之首“冲炉”为载体，融蟠虺、锦地于一身，且带有铸铜名家“石叟”款识，各部组合得当，予人耳目一新之感，极好地体现仿古融新的制作思路。
附木质炉座及镂空如意云头纹炉盖。
