Of broad cylindrical form, the straight sides decorated to the exterior with a meandering stem issuing large peony blossoms amid a dense ground of feathery leaves, covered overall with a pale sea-foam green glaze pooling in the recesses to a darker tone, all between double incised lines at the foot and mouth rim, the interior with a transparent glaze, the rim and interior glazed in white, resting on a flat partially unglazed base with a recessed glazed centre.
